AEgis Technologies showcases its array of training and simulation capabilities at booth 1901, including:
- AEgis shows a Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) demonstration it specifically designed and created for Google Cardboard technology. The Visual-Eyes app can be downloaded from the Apple or Android app stores for an advance look at the Virtual Training Garage and Interactive Augmented Reality Engagements. With Visual-Eyes, users can immerse themselves in a 3D world by entering a virtual training garage and navigating 360° around three military vehicles: AH-64, F-15E or M3A3. The augmented reality experience allows users to defend their position by firing at either a tank or an unmanned air system (drone). The Visual-Eyes app was created to give users a tangible experience in how virtual and augmented reality is both accessible and ideal for: education, maintenance, real-time training and, in all honesty, just plain fun.
- The AEgis booth also showcases MONARCH, a flexible powerful interoperability solution, as part of the Operation Blended Warrior (OBW) exercise. MONARCH is a programmable message translation and routing application that enables communications between simulation and other systems in training and operational environments. There will also be live demos on the new VAMPIRE® Pro trainer for UAS; Synthetic Environment Core (SE Core) Common Moving 3D Models; and Geospatial Programs (including Games for Training, Interactive Multimedia Instruction, Terrain Database Development, and Real-time 3D Models).
- For one week only, AEgis Elements is offering Free 3D Model Downloads during the I/ITSEC conference dates of 30 November to 3 December. There are hundreds of high-fidelity, 3D Models to choose from with applications that include gaming, simulators, demos, STEM-based education programs and more.
