Yesterday, the International SOFIC demonstration was held right in front of the Tampa Convention Center – as well as on the surrounding streets, a bridge, the hospital at the opposite side and the water way. According to the organisers SOF soldiers from 24 countries took part in that demo. As vehicles two Sikorsky UH-60 BLACKHAWKs, a Boeing AH-6 LITTLE BIRD and several different boats (two U.S. Navy riverine command boats, several RHIBs) were presented. At the final HALO jumps were conducted from a Lockheed Martin C-130 HERCULES.
