Copenhagen Sensor Technology A/S (CST) promotes a newly developed driver sight camera unit, the Citadel Dual Rotation Cam, which contains an uncooled VOx (vanadium oxide) or micro-bolometer thermal camera and a third-generation visual colour CCD (charge-coupled device) camera. Klaus Aude, CST's Vice President Business Development, told MT that he expects "increasing use in the urban environment", with the camera unit delivering "high-performance imagery even under the harshest (environmental) conditions." CST's product brochure reads that the cameras are encased in a rugged housing, designed to withstand vibration in accordance to MIL STD 810G.
