Saab announced on 2 September that the General Tadeusz Kosciuszko Military Academy of the Land Forces has selected the company’s Tactical Engagement Simulation System (TESS) to enhance live exercise training for the Polish forces.
The two TESS systems to be supplied are an initial order under a two year contract from the academy, the company says. Providing trainers with the ability to construct and conduct realistic combat training exercises, combining individual and crew-served weapons and armoured vehicles, TESS includes a comprehensive suite of after action review facilities that address training objectives directly.
“This initial order will provide the future officers with a proven, off-the-shelf and technically advanced training system which offers unrivalled interoperability options within NATO and beyond," Saab said.
