The MESIT Prístroje Company takes advantage of its experience with intercom systems for the implementation of personal headsets that are designed for effective voice communication either inside or outside the combat vehicle, especially in difficult and noisy environments. Using both passive and active means they reproduce the crew’s intercom and the vehicle’s radio signals with very high noise-attenuating characteristics to reduce listening fatigue and to protect against it. This high degree of attenuation is achieved through the integration of an ANR (Active Noise Reduction) module inside each earshell and the PNR (Passive Noise Reduction) of the ambient noise that its construction provides. The MESIT prístroje Company is able to offer a large choice of variants, that can be customised in accordance with customers’ requirements, such as different PPT switches, microphones, connectors, helmets, liners, camouflage covers, also including a passive version that functions without an external power supply and an active version that offers ANR, TTC (Talk-Through Capability) and VOS (Voice Operated Switch). Evidence of the success and the exceptional qualities of the headsets is clear-cut, based on the fact that several thousand of them were marketed within a short time-period. The MESIT Prístroje Company, a member of the MESIT Group, will be exhibiting its current headset models at DSEi in London.
