3D perception has unveiled the latest addition to the NORTHSTAR product line - WarpLite. This exciting new product integrates seamlessly within the NORTHSTAR architecture, and can take advantage of 3D perception's accurate and flexible auto-calibration systems.
3D perception is demonstrating the NORTHSTAR precision immersive display featuring the new F50 from Barco.
NORTHSTAR is 3D perception’s turn-key simulation display solution, and is the fusion of several live-linked sub-systems, all managed under a unified user-interface, nControl. The NORTHSTAR display at I/ITSEC 2014 features 3D perception's 4th generation, zero frame latency, multi-projector display processor, nBox, which is NORTHSTAR's core technology. It warps, blends and color corrects content, and seamlessly displays imagery across any screen shape.
Also featured are Aurora, 3D perception’s patented screen concept, integrating the industry’s fastest and most accurate automatic calibration system in a highly modular spherical screen concept; CompactView WQ50, ideal for simulation applications, applications such as multi-channel seamless visualization walls, domes, and high resolution imaging; and Dynamic Optical Blenders, which provide precision edge blending for night and night vision goggle (NVG) training, without compromising image quality. Optical blending does not sacrifice contrast for black level uniformity, and the servo-controlled optical blends can gradually take effect during day-to-night transitions.
