CTC on Wheels is a vehicle-based, deployable CTC. The system's main modules (EXCON and After Action Review) are both mounted on a full-size pickup truck. The training area can be increased, by adding additional antenna trucks. The CTC on Wheels is set up in 10 minutes.
The Carry-on CTC is a highly flexible and easy to deploy system which is designed to fit into two bags.
In the Virtual Training area, RUAG is demonstrating the Company Leader Station. The station allows training of unit commanders in mission planning procedures and helps to improve tactical skills.

RUAG’s mission is to provide high-fidelity training systems that enable highly customized training experiences in different environments and terrains. RUAG Simulation & Training offers a new range of deployable CTCs. There are two products in the deployable CTC product line: Carry-on CTC and CTC on Wheels.Carry-on CTC and CTC on Wheels are specifically designed for
- Internalising standard situations and unexpected events in different environments,
- Decreasing reaction times and better judging of situations, and
- Achieving correct response under stress, correct decision-making and compliance with the rules of engagement.
One of the key requirements for exercising unexpected events is the fast generation of different situations with high accuracy and in specific environments.
CTC on Wheels is a vehicle-based, deployable CTC. The system’s main modules (EXCON and After Action Review) are both mounted on a full-size pickup truck. The training area can be increased, by adding additional antenna trucks. After choosing the optimal terrain, the CTC on Wheels is set up in 10 minutes. CTC on Wheels is highly scalable and provides a wide range of training possibilities including soldier, weapon and vehicle simulators and instrumented buildings (mobile MOUT).
The Carry-on CTC is a highly flexible and easy to deploy system which is designed to fit into two bags. The Carry-on CTC is particularly attractive for exercising fast changing simulation scenarios and for small unit training in limited areas. Quick setup times and parameter configuration are the keys to ad-hoc training in the open field.
