On 15-18 September, 26 leading companies of the German security and defence industry showcase their high-tech products on the German Pavilion at DSEI in London.

One of the highlights is the visit of the German corvette LUDWIGSHAFEN AM RHEIN (K 130), which was put into service only two years ago, and therefore ranks among the most advanced vessels of its kind. Not only latest trends, but also particularly successful field-tested products and systems are showcased under the banner of German Defence Technology.

High-ranking representatives of the German MoD announced their visit to the German pavilion, which thereby receives a visible political support of the Federal government for this corporate display of industries. Once again, the German pavilion is under the patronage of the German Defence Industry Group (GWM e.V.).

This focussed display of performance capabilities clearly represents the broad range of German technological expertise and engineering on a national stage like DSEI. Highest product quality and economic viability, as well as reliable after-sales service are principal elements for the increasing competitiveness of German industries on an international level. These outstanding skills and traits set optimal preconditions for European and international cooperation.

The corporate display on exhibitions, specifically SMEs, benefit from this corporate display on exhibitions by demonstrating their product portfolio in the context of a mutual concept. German SMEs account for more than half of the added value in the German security and defence industry and are therefore an essential and indispensable pillar of this industrial sector.

The exhibitions core area encompasses defence technology for land forces, naval systems and equipment, aerospace systems, as well as:

  • C4ISR,
  • Weapons, ammunition, guided missiles,
  • Armoured and unarmoured vehicles,
  • Aerial defence,
  • Unmanned vehicles,
  • Sensor technology, and
  • Equipment components.
