König Komfort- und Rennsitze from Germany is presenting its brought range of seats for tactical vehicles, even for open SOF vehicles. Four examples are:
- K1350 (IdZ), that have a forward facing installation, floor mounting with slides, longitudinal adjustment about 250 mm and designed to protect 5% to 95% of the users. Other features are a 5-point-belt automatic belt system and an integrated headrest. Options are covers in leather or leatherette, armrest on right/left or on both sides and flame resistant to aviation FAR 25.853a (ADB0031). It can be integrated in unprotected and protected vehicles, seat weight is 49kg. In the German Armed Forces it is used in the Iveco TRAKKER.
- The IDP-A-IL-5P is a turnable seat – with or without belt. The integrated turntable offers stops at 0, 45, 90, 180 degrees, has a seat depth adjustment and a height- and tilt-adjustable headrest. The rest of the features are nearly the same as the K1350.
- The K 1300 (IDZ) just finished the tests of the German Armed Forces. It has a continuously adjustable reclining backrest, is prepared for floor assembly, has a longitudinal adjustment about 250 mm, a seat depth adjustment, 5-point-belt automatic belt system and an integrated headrest. Options are covers in leather or leatherette, 4-point-belt automatic belt system, armrest on right/left or on both sides and a flame resistant to aviation FAR 25.853a (ADB0031).
All of the seats are designed with patented adjustable inner backrest to be used with and without IDZ (Future Soldier System) vest.
Brand new is the 23-RS 1000-M, designed to protect 5% to 95% of occupants with full body ARMOUR and used in open vehicles. The weight about 6 kg (without adapters and sliding rails) and a forward-facing installation. The frame consists of a glass fibre frame with easy-to-remove cushion pads (synthetic leather) and a water drain – and therefore easy to clean. It is useable with 3-, 4- and 5-point harnesses. It is flame resistant DIN75200 / FMVSS302. Options are a carbon/kevlar fibre frame with a weight of ca. 5kg, covers of fabric 500.000 martindale and a seating of leather and synthetic leather, flame resistant according to FAR25.853a and tested to -40 °C, antibacterial synthetic leather (easy to clean) and an upgraded FIA compliant.
